Meaningful work you’ll be part of As a Valuations Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/EN), you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Understand the business/assets being valued, its historical and projected performance as well as key strengths and challenges Conduct financial research into industry and general economic conditions, valuation multiples for relevant public companies and precedent transactions Engage clients in discussions around their business, including operations and financial items to further our valuation analysis Prepare cash flow and valuation models to arrive at estimates of value Perform valuation of the shares or assets of a business under various circumstances Perform valuation of intangible assets as well as impairment tests (goodwill and assets) for financial reporting purposes Perform audit support work including the review of purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment assessments and private equity portfolio company valuations Assist in writing valuation reports supporting the valuation conclusion for various purposes including financial reporting, tax, transaction, etc. Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada CPA designation or other accounting or finance-based designations is considered an asset · Progress or commitment towards completion of the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation Strong financial background Superior verbal and written communication skills Strong technical and project management skills, an ability to analyze business situations and a professional and personable demeanour This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation PwC Canada is committed to cultivating an inclusive, hybrid work environment.
