Job Description What is the Opportunity? As part of the Group Risk Management team, the Manager, GRM – Wealth Management (WM) Risk Reporting & Data Engineering will perform a key role in ensuring GRM Wealth Management (WM) risk reporting processes are executed timely and support enhancement of the risk analytics infrastructure through data engineering activities including ingestion of data from various data sources, processing & transformation of data, and visualization of results What will you do? WM Enterprise Risk Reporting - management of day-to-day reporting processes and dissemination of daily reports Monitoring of data quality and performance of data quality controls Investigation into variances and reconciliation against trusted sources Maintain appropriate documentation for all reporting processes including reporting procedures and best practices as needed. Maintain a high standard of responsiveness to incoming requests from management, and proactively respond to ad-hoc inquiries and requests for analysis by senior management or other business partners. Develop subject matter expertise in Wealth Management related Risk. Automation of manual reporting using tools such as Python and PowerBI. Enhance the reporting infrastructure through design and optimization of data pipelines for dashboarding and reporting working with data sources across RBC Improve data management processes towards acquiring, transforming, and storing data – set up and utilize tools (GitHub/Airflow etc) to optimize and automate data handling Deep dive analysis into reporting data and processes from a risk lens to uncover enhancement opportunities and drive/facilitate execution as required. What do you need to succeed? Must Have: Advanced Data Analytics Skills including database set up and management Superior Coding experience including Python language Good understanding of Risk themes including Credit, Liquidity, Interest Rate and Capital risks Risk reporting to management level experience.
