Job Description: We’re seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong construcion finance experience to oversee the full project accounting cycle—from budgeting and forecasting to job cost reporting and payment processing. This role rquires a hands-on, proactive individual who can collaborate with Project Managers, enure accuracy across financial workflows, and support timely reporting and compliance. What You Will Do: Understand the whole accounting process while overseeing a team of project accountants Train, develop, and mentor the project accounting team Monitor and resolve issues impacting timeliness and accuracy of payments Review job cost entries made to project job cost reports Input project budgets while managing forecasts Conduct periodic review of the project budgets and job cost reports with Project Managers Review and approve contracts and change orders Administer payment approval software application (GC Pay) Process monthly construction and intercompany billings Prepare reports in support of finance draws Monitor and review back charges Review outstanding invoices and deal with approval comments with Project Accountants Produce ad hoc reports as required. What You Will Bring: Designated CPA preferred Minimum of 4 years of experience working in team environments in an accounting/finance role Management and leadership experience Excellent communication skills Experience with budgeting and forecasting A positive, self-motivated, and problem-solving individual Advanced Excel skills are an asset (ex.
