We’re looking for a passionate and skilled culinary professional to join our team. At Good Folk, we’re not just cooking—we’re crafting memorable experiences. As Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your station and bring flavour-driven, beautifully plated dishes to life. You’ll work confidently with premium proteins—from wild boar to fresh fish—executing with precision, creativity, and consistency. Do you bring technical mastery and artistic flair to your craft? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where consistency meets innovation? At Good Folk, every service is a chance to grow, lead, and contribute to something exceptional.
This elevated approach extends beyond nightly dinner service— it extends into bespoke private functions and future culinary events, making Good Folk a truly dynamic place to showcase your craft.
What You’ll Do:
Run your station with precision and consistency during service
Lead by example, supporting your team and maintaining pace and flow
Uphold established recipes, plating standards, and kitchen systems
Keep your station clean, organized, and service-ready at all times
Communicate clearly and constructively with both BOH and FOH teams
Work efficiently across multiple stations, with a focus on grill and hot line
Assist with prep, restocking, inventory rotation, and waste control
Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation
Contribute positively to team culture and kitchen professionalism
What You’ll Bring
2–3 years of experience in elevated dining, preferably with a focus on proteins or hot line
Strong technical skills in grilling, sautéing, and butchery (meat on the bone, whole fish, etc.)
Excellent knife skills with a commitment to clean, consistent execution
Calm, focused presence and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Deep respect for quality, timing, and delivering an exceptional guest experience
Ability to take direction and step up to support teammates when needed
Experience with end-of-day kitchen procedures is a plus
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs
Are you ready to own your station, lead with purpose, and cook with soul?
