We’re looking for our next Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner. Could It Be You?
The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Corporate FP&A team, whose purpose is to deliver insightful financial information and analysis to the executive team to support decision-making across the organization. Working under the direction of the Director, GMW Finance Business Partners, the incumbent supports the Executive Team by providing financial analysis and management reporting on Questrade’s businesses. This role will primarily support the finance needs of Questrade’s Technology Group (QTG) and work closely with the business unit leaders in QTG in the ongoing refinement and tracking of financial budget and forecasts (including relevant financial KPI’s), as well as the development of business cases for new initiatives.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting business unit leaders with the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets.
Providing monthly and annual operating results analysis against budget to business unit leaders and Executive teams.
Working closely with the People & Culture team and other finance team members in tracking and reporting on headcount.
Conducting various financial modeling projects on operational short-term and long-term strategic initiatives.
Tracking the performance of business cases.
Developing and maintaining financial models using various modeling methodologies, including statistical modeling, driver-based modeling, and financial valuation methods.
Pursuing continuous improvement in business processes for FP&A.
Leading and assisting with ad-hoc special projects within the Finance team as they may arise.

Have a post-secondary degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Hold a CPA designation (or are working towards it)
Possess 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 2 years at a manager level at a technology company or supporting a technology organization
Have strong communication skills (both verbal and in writing) to collaborate effectively with multiple levels of management
Have a pro-active and results-driven attitude
Have proven ability to analyze and forecast financial outcomes of technology spend throughout development and contract lifecycles
Can multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail, and prioritize work within tight deadlines
Have advanced proficiency in Excel
