As a Renewal Retention Specialist, you'll leverage your knowledge of personal insurance, regional market insights, and technical skills to make a real difference—focusing on client retention and preparing clients for each renewal cycle. You'll play a key part in Westland’s commitment to outstanding service, developing your front-line underwriting abilities, and gaining hands-on experience throughout the sales and client life cycles.

Why we’ll love You:
Building authentic client relationships comes naturally to you
Master time manager, you can prioritize your workload while demonstrating confidentiality and discretion
Strong understanding of provincial markets, underwriting criteria, and company portals
3+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience
General Level 2 Insurance License or currently working towards level 2 and working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided!)
Once here, you'll:
Complete renewal reviews and provide advice to either clients or other advisors to identify and address potential gaps in coverage, with a focus on upselling, cross-selling and retention.
Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships through proactive communication.
Maintain and process policy renewals according to Westland’s standards.
Assist broader team of advisors and management in providing feedback on procedures, market trends, changes in underwriting guidelines and other industry updates in the spirit of continuous improvement.
Support with reporting, additional projects and/or administrative work as needed.
Train new employees across the organization on retention standards and renewal workflows.
