Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacist-Led Clinic at Forbes Pharmacy in Cold Lake, AB!
This role involves both Dispensary and Non-Dispensary duties, with a primary focus on Non-Dispensary Clinic responsibilities
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:00 pm with occasional Saturdays if needed
Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
Advance patient care beyond traditional dispensing, through collaborative drug therapy management and innovative clinical initiatives
Review patient records to assess the appropriateness of medication therapy
Identify health conditions that require attention and refer patients to the appropriate healthcare provider
Provide expert consultation on medication dosages, substances, and administration
Evaluate the effectiveness of pharmaceutical treatments and adjust as necessary
Maintain accurate records of medication plans and patient progress
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
APA Certification is required
Injection certification is required
Familiarity with Alberta Pharmacy Professional Services Framework
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
Key attributes include client focus, accuracy, dependability, initiative, strong interpersonal skills, organization, flexibility, and a collaborative team mindset
Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical therapy
Familiarity with drug administration and health and safety procedures
Drug prescription software (Kroll preferred)
