As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be the strategic driver of veterinarian recruitment across your assigned territory. You’ll work closely with clinic leaders, operations teams, and external partners to identify hiring needs, source top talent, and ensure a seamless, high-touch recruitment experience. Your work will directly influence clinic success, patient outcomes, and team satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Talent Partnering
Collaborate with clinic managers and operations leaders to assess hiring needs and workforce planning
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding hiring decisions based on skill, culture fit, and long-term potential
Provide coaching and mentorship to practice managers on recruitment best practices
Sourcing & Networking
Represent VetStrategy at industry events, job fairs, conferences, and campus recruitment initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with universities, associations, search firms, and other talent sources
Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Lead the recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding
Conduct pre-screening interviews, coordinate working interviews, and manage candidate communications
Maintain accurate records in the ATS and generate recruitment reports and insights
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in recruitment, if it is in the veterinary industry an asset
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
Passion for veterinary care and team development
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Willingness to travel to clinics and industry events
