POSITION: IT Support Analyst
STATUS: Permanent; Part-Time
SHIFT: 2-4 days/week, Monday-Friday (Flexible schedule)

About the Position:
The IT Support Analyst will assist with 1st and 2nd level support for all IT related functions throughout the organization. Both in person and by other forms of communication (e-mail, remote connection and phone).
Some specific duties:
Provide first contact support of incoming daily requests (phone/email/chat/desk-side).
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop and printer issues.
Test fixes to ensure an incident has been adequately resolved.
Set up and configuring new workstations, desktops and laptops, printers, VOIP phones, smartphones/tablets for staff.
Perform hands-on fixes when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs, screen repairs and etc.
Create OS deployment images, keeping them up-to date.
Perform monthly patch management for Windows desktops and laptops.
Assign/update user access security permissions as needed.
Logging support requests through the help desk software and documenting the solutions.
Maintain up to date IT Asset Inventory List.
Write, editing and revising training materials for new updated software and hardware.
Monitor e-mail spam filter and making tweaks to improve the mail flow.
Run monthly reports: spam filter, antivirus logs, information governance.
Create and maintain software version control document.
Create and maintaining software and hardware change control documents.
Coordinate phishing campaigns using existing tool.
Assist in various projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications you need to have:
Degree, Diploma or Certification in Computer Information Technology related program plus 3-5 years’ experience in Information Technology support role or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the employer.
Past experience in customer support roles
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with ability to interact with a diverse group of staff in a respectful manner, determine problem and apply appropriate solution.
Valid, current BC driver’s license would be an asset
Ability to lifting up to 25lbs.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Ability to organize, set priorities, complete tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of Office 365 platform
Superior troubleshooting skills
In depth knowledge of Remote Access support
Understanding of ITIL Service Management would be an asset
