Role Reporting to the Director, Multiplatform Advertising Sales, the Programmatic Sales Representative role is focused on three main areas: ? Collaborating with the in-house programmatic team to maximize available inventory and stay current on new developments and technological advancements for Media Solutions. ? Working with digital ad agencies, trading desks and business partners who have brought their programmatic buying in-house. ? Working closely with 360 sales reps to develop and execute strategies that increase programmatic investments in their assigned territories. Key Tasks ? Aggressively develop, lead and execute strategies to drive programmatic revenue and achieve sales targets. ? Establish and build relationships with agencies, trading desks and direct clients. ? Closely monitor programmatic deal performance and be proactive in pitching new opportunities to business partners. ? Work closely with 360 sales reps to develop strategic proposals and generate new business. ? Educate and share programmatic knowledge with 360 sales reps. ? Maintain up-to-date information related to market changes, the competitive landscape, trends and movements to effectively manage programmatic business. ? Develop and maintain partner profiles, contact information and historical buying data. ? Represent the organization at various industry events (e.g., client activities, conferences, networking functions and training sessions). What You Bring ? University degree in marketing, communications and/or administration. ? Minimum of five years’ digital sales experience and at least one year’s experience selling programmatic. ? Completion of programmatic training highly recommended. ? Significant knowledge of programmatic platforms and emerging technology. ? Excellent knowledge of the Canadian media landscape and CBC/Radio-Canada offerings. ? Bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written). ? Skills in negotiation, sales and business development. ? Ability to use a consultative and collaborative approach to selling. ? Comfort in developing plans and strategies aligned with client business needs. ? Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. ? Strong listening skills and ability to be tactful in interactions with external and internal clients. ?
