The Trade Analyst is responsible for delivering comprehensive claims support and managing claims operations across multiple functions. This includes reviewing and validating claims against trade terms and contracts, overseeing account management, analyzing and preparing reports, and performing related administrative tasks. The role ensures efficient processing of various claim types, identifies invalid claims, and collaborates with the AR and Sales teams to resolve issues promptly, facilitating a seamless process flow for month-end sales deduction closing.
Principal Responsibilities:
Review customer claim invoices and validate it against contracts.
Reporting and presentation regarding Sales deduction and P/L to upper level of management
Guide and monitor sales program related process and policy to the related department
Maintain annual program terms with payouts
Process valid customer claim submissions and post audits
Identify invalids and partner with sales team to resolve in a timely manner
Process credit notes/debit notes daily
Perform customer account reconciliations for responsible accounts
Program registration/monitoring & maintenance
Account Management/reporting
Analyzing & reporting of accounts
Manage annual trade term
Month end closing of sales deduction
Budgeting sales deduction monthly and yearly
Forecast P/L (profit and loss) and do gap analysis
Additional duties, as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Understanding of finance, accounting, and promotional claim processing.
College/University graduate
2-5 years of AR/Deduction management experience
Effective verbal/written communication skills.
Bi-lingual (English/Korean) is an asset
Compliance and investigative mindset
MS Excel: Intermediate – Advance level
Ability to learn new programs with ease
Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced, and detail-oriented environment.
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Self-motivated / starter
