The Granite Club is looking for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist that will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. They will be responsible for the efficient and accurate data processing and maintenance of all accounts payable transactions.

Primary Responsibilities
Review supporting documents to ensure all payables are properly authorized, accurate and processed in a timely manner in accordance with Club policies and procedures
Ensure all AP transactions are coded correctly
Match invoices to purchase orders/ General Purchase Requisitions and contracts, ensuring consistency with contracted terms
Assist with payment run preparation and mailing
Assist with contractor payments
Assist with credit card reconciliations
Assist with reimbursement for employees and company credit card in Concur
Assisting with month end procedures
Vendor payment inquiries
Assist with Controller/Senior Accountants inquiries, includes running various reports
Ensure proper and organized filing and digital record keeping for Accounts Payable and other finance related documents
Providing backup samples for yearend audit
Data Entry and other bookkeeping duties
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
College diploma in Accounting or Commerce
Accounts Payable Experience 5+years
Attention to detail and accuracy
Fast learner
Professional phone manners
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Strong ability to follow-up and follow-through
Excellent English communications skills, both written and oral
High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office and experience in accounting software
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
