The Manager, Platforms & Commerce is responsible for leading and managing the implementation and execution of both Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns. This includes strategic planning, campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and client communication. The role requires a strong understanding of digital performance marketing across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Snap. Accountabilities Support the Client Leadership team in defining and delivering the strategic direction of integrated paid media campaigns. Develop a deep understanding of the client business, with a focus on performance marketing. Actively contribute to and lead internal discussions, client meetings, and agency culture with strategic insights and innovative ideas. Understand and anticipate client needs beyond individual projects to support their broader business goals. Lead the setup and execution of campaigns across Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing, Search Ads 360) and Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, LinkedIn, Reddit). Conduct audience research, build campaign structures, manage ad sets and creatives, and oversee measurement frameworks. Lead a team of search buyers and a team of social buyers to continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data and client/account leadership feedback. Support the buying team to produce high-quality reporting including actionable insights and commentary Coach and mentor search and social buyers on campaign execution, optimization, and reporting. Qualifications Post-secondary degree or diploma in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a digital performance agency or client-side role with a focus on delivering against KPIs. Hands-on experience with SEM platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, DoubleClick) and Paid Social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit). Strong understanding both at a conceptual and practical level of billing platforms like MediaOcean and Prisma to coach and lead search and social teams through full media buying process. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and resolve client issues effectively. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally. Strategic thinker with a passion for digital marketing. Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and a growth mindset. Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and relevant certifications (e.g. Google, Meta) are considered assets. Additional information The salary range for this position is $75k-$85k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
