Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.

What you'll do:
The Business Solutions team is tasked with pursuing opportunities for long-term growth and new revenue. Leveraging expertise in client relationship management and business acumen, the Manager, Business Solutions will build and manage a robust pipeline of potential opportunities across private and public sector verticals.
Reporting to the Director, Business Solutions, the Manager, Business Solutions will work closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop innovative business solutions that can be developed into viable products to address customer problems and/or capitalize on market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Builds and maintains relationships with current and potential customers, stakeholders, business partners and vendors through networking and research
Initiates discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders as required to develop an understanding of business requirements for new products and services
Researches, plans, and implements new target market initiatives
Acts as the process owner for LandSure’s Business Development Framework and manages the opportunity funnel, including the management of internal policies and processes
Reports on the opportunity funnel status to senior leadership
Leads in the preparation of business case analysis and development in accordance with LandSure’s Business Development Framework, including detailed opportunity evaluations
Works with internal teams to develop and present proposals and other documentation
Leads the design of business models that supports business case development for new products and services, including optimization of project ROI, revenue forecasting, and conducting sensitivity analysis
Develops and negotiates contracts with the assistance of senior leadership and internal legal counsel
Supports the building and tracking of project and product budgets
Supports the elicitation and documentation of business/functional/non-functional requirements for business development opportunities

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other relevant field
10+ years’ experience in developing customer business solutions in a complex B2B or B2G environment
Public sector or regulated industry experience would be beneficial
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required to be hands-on to identify and solve business problems in varied environments
Demonstrated success in launching and scaling partnerships, products and programs
Experience in business development and sales with a confirmed history of meeting and exceeding sales or business growth targets
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with software architecture, relational databases, data analytics, and web technology and/or related applications would be an asset
Ability to multitask and deal with several ongoing projects at once
Skilled using MS Office suite along with ability to develop and deliver professional presentations to executives internally and externally
Strong written, oral communication skills
Strong customer-focused attitude with ability to leverage technology and business acumen
Ability to consistently follow through on commitments and timelines
Ability to operate as a generalist that is able to effectively engage colleagues in a variety of disciplines
Problem solving approach and comfortable working with multiple departments to resolve cross-functional issues
Experience with real-time customer-facing systems
Travel up to 5%; predominantly within British Columbia
We are dedicated to transparency in our hiring process. $101,200 - $126,500 annually, reflects a reasonable expectation for pay for the position depending on qualifications and experience. This compensation is specific to the role within our organization and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.
