About the Role:
As the Regional Facilities Specialist, you will oversee operations across
multiple locations in the assigned region, establishing standardized processes
for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will conduct regional
facility inspections and coordinate repairs for property interiors and
exteriors, including structural elements, fixtures, roofing systems, and
lighting infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Apply Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on troubleshooting and dive deeps for
facility issues, supporting a region of maintenance teams to investigate the
root cause and planning actions to eliminate/mitigate the downtime of critical
facility assets
Provide regional escalation support for onsite maintenance teams, for items
related to Fire, Life, Safety (FLS), HVAC systems, power generators, facility
electrical and plumbing systems, etc.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for different Provincial Regulations, for
Base Building related issues, including, but not limited to: Fire, Life, Safety
(FLS), HVAC systems, power generators, facility electrical and plumbing systems,
lighting systems and general industrial building codes.
Ensure vendor work for both preventative and reactive maintenance for all
facilities are being performed efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption
and inconvenience
Establish communication, escalation procedures, and contingency plans to negate
periods of operational impact
Maintain and install new equipment and facilities, ensuring that warranties are
met
Lead training initiatives to enhance technical capabilities of onsite
maintenance teams
Develop regional facility improvement proposals and execute with approved
vendors
Travel domestically up to 80% to support sites within a region Basic
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time
Exempt experience
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or
holidays
5+ years of program management experience
5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
5+ years experience in general building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and
electrical and familiar with building codes and safety compliance Preferred
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial,
Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)
5+ years of budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and
client/ customer relations experience
5+ years working with HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical
systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation
Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, and have excellent communication
skills, both oral and written
Completion of an applicable technical training program
