We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, can-do Maintenance 2 Ambassador who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help keep our hotel running at its very best! From fixing things behind the scenes to making our guests smile with top-notch service, you’ll be the hero who keeps everything in tip-top shape—while keeping safety a top priority.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering wow-worthy service to guests and team members while tackling a variety of maintenance requests.
Handling moderately complex repair and upkeep tasks—whether it’s a leaky faucet, a squeaky door, or something in between—while keeping safety, quality, and industry standards front and center.
Spotting and reporting health, safety, or security issues, and making sure tools are in perfect working order (and stored neatly!).
Jumping in to resolve guest concerns where possible—because your service attitude is just as strong as your wrench arm.
Tracking and reporting inventory levels to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Following all Occupational Health & Safety policies like the pro you are.
Helping keep the hotel, our team, and our guests secure while you work.
Pitching in with “all hands on deck” energy for any other duties that come your way.
What You Bring to the Table:
High school diploma (or equivalent).
At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience—bonus points if you’re skilled in painting, plumbing, HVAC, or other building trades!
Solid know-how of tools, equipment, and techniques to get the job done right.
Top-notch communication and customer service skills.
Energy, mobility, and the stamina to handle an active workday.
A sharp eye for health and safety regulations.
A polished, professional attitude and appearance.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle busy, high-pressure moments.
WHMIS training, an apprenticeship registration, or other specialized maintenance experience is a definite plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays—you’re the kind of person who thrives in a dynamic schedule.
