Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building
envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability
in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Technical
Services Representative to join our team supporting the Toronto market.
Job Summary:
The Technical Services Representative provides post-sale technical support and
service to Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation customers and distribution partners.
This individual is responsible for managing relationships, maintaining and
growing assigned accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through responsive
service, technical knowledge, and product expertise. The role also supports new
business development within a designated territory and assists with issue
resolution, quoting, and technical training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate technical support to customers using Carlisle
Spray Foam Insulation systems.
- Manage relationships with existing accounts while identifying and pursuing
new business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets and performance metrics.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Maintain up-to-date customer activity records in CRM systems and internal
databases.
- Follow up on all leads and referrals from both internal teams and external
sources.
- Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams for scheduling,
quality, pricing, and technical communications.
- Collaborate with internal support staff to address complex customer needs.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge to better serve and support
customers.
- Support U.S. Technical Services team with up to 20% of travel time.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and
relationship management
- Technical problem-solving skills with the ability to apply solutions in the
field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Access) and web-based tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize work in a remote or field-based role
- Valid driver’s license and passport required
- Clean driving record
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight and international trips
Education and Experience:
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in spray foam insulation or related equipment
- Preferred:
- Experience managing both small and large accounts
- Strategic selling experience and CRM system familiarity
- Proven commercial success in the industrial or manufacturing sectors
- Cross-functional team collaboration experience
- Bilingual in English & French is a plus
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with regular travel to customer sites, manufacturing plants, and
job sites
- Up to 50% travel, including international
- Work may include extended periods of standing, walking, or field-related
activity
