About the Role
We’re looking for an exceptionally skilled CNC Wizard to join our production team. The ideal candidate is a master of machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting, with the ability to take complex designs from concept to flawless finished parts. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring our CNC machines operate at peak efficiency and deliver top-quality results.
What You’ll Do
Setup & Commissioning: Install, align, and calibrate new CNC machines; ensure they meet operational specifications.
CAM Programming: Develop and optimize CAM programs for a variety of parts and materials using industry-standard software.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and programming issues to minimize downtime.
Production Support: Maintain efficient workflows, monitor production quality, and make continuous improvements to increase output and precision.
Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production staff, and quality control to ensure seamless integration from CAD model to finished product.
Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed records of machine performance.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience setting up and commissioning CNC machines.
Proficiency in CAM programming and toolpath optimization.
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and software aspects of CNC equipment.
Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to precision.
Bonus Points For
Knowledge of multi-axis machining.
Experience with fixture design and optimization.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

You must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be local or willing to relocate. This role is based in Cambridge, Ontario and telecommuting is not an option.
Salary: 50k-65k based on experience - flexible
