Job Description What is the opportunity? The T&O Supplier Management Office is on a journey to evolve its practices and data strategy related to third party risk. The Director will lead the strategy and execution of the next horizon of our data strategy and drive the transformation and change management associated with our risk practices. What will you do? Defines the future state of the third-party risk team in partnership with the Director, Supplier Engagement Assurance and Director Supplier Assurance and regulatory readiness. Creates the strategy and roadmap of the future state and drives the transformation, change management and data strategy. Lead the documentation of the procedures and operational guides for the end-to-end processes and implementation. Leads defining the goals for TPSS’ data products that align with the broader TPSS vision. This includes building both short- and long-term strategies; mapping out data personas and consumer profiles; defining key metrics to track success; determining the prioritization of features that fall within the data scope; track usage to identify opportunities for improvement. Drive the automation of risk and relationship related processes and data to increase the capacity of the existing team and drive efficiencies. Lead the creation of self-serve dashboards and reporting related to all aspects of third party data covering SaaS and non-SaaS suppliers. Lead project prioritization to enable completion of most critical work to drive financial benefits and an enhanced client and supplier experience. Recommend tools and technology to enhance the existing processes. Assist with the enhancement and clean-up of data required for the KPIs and KRIs for SaaS engagements, applications and suppliers. Lead the business management activities on behalf of TPSS including monthly business review deck (BRD); FTE tracking, ZBB activities and other SMO specific initiatives. What do you need to succeed? Must have: University degree or equivalent experience in Data technology and automation Strong Data management skills and knowledge of technology Strong understanding of RBC Third Party risk practices Excellent communication, business writing skills, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Strategic mindset and ability to synthesize information to frame messages effectively for the executives. Strong people leadership and change leadership skills. Ability to disrupt and challenge the status quo.
