Instructors will be responsible for delivering the course as described in the SELP curriculum. This will include planning lessons and assignments that fulfill course objectives, preparing additional materials as required, and accompanying the students on off-campus site visits. The instructor will also be required to attend a preparation meeting in advance of the program start date. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a BC TEAL/TESL-Canada recognized TESL certificate equivalent to a specialization in TESL from a degree program. Minimum two-year teaching experience in ESL at the adult level. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team Salary Range/Hours & Days of Work: Instructors generally work Monday to Friday, from 9-12 noon and 1–3 p.m. Salary: $38/hour ($36.54 salary plus 4% vacation pay).
