Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply. We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to join our IT team for a 16-month term. This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting and maintaining .NET-based enterprise applications, MS SQL Server databases, Windows Server environments, and ETL workflows such as SSIS. Job Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise applications, integrations, and services Perform SQL Server administration, including patching, backup/restore, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Support ETL workflows using Microsoft SSIS and integration platforms like Dell Boomi Manage and monitor Windows Server environments (some Linux exposure is a plus) Maintain and improve infrastructure monitoring tools and dashboards Participate in incident response and root cause analysis Automate manual processes using PowerShell and/or Python scripting Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with organizational policies Highlights of Qualifications: 3+ years in application support, infrastructure operations, or similar roles Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including backup/restore, jobs, and performance tuning Solid understanding of Windows Server administration (user access, IIS, patching) Experience supporting and troubleshooting .NET web applications Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL workflows; exposure to Dell Boomi is a plus Proficient with PowerShell scripting; Python is a bonus Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset toward problem solving Excellent communication and collaboration skills We believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members.
