Are you a Dynamics 365 F&O Expert?
We are looking for a professional and engaging Dynamics 365 F&O Technical
Architect for our Data & Dynamics team located in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto or
Vancouver! Utilizing your deep and expert knowledge of Finance & Operations
processes you understand client requirements through strong business and
technical consulting skills and are well versed in optimizing Dynamics 365
implementations. You favor Change Management over Customization and are able to
influence customers accordingly. You will work directly with Sales and Delivery
leaders to support solution demos, design, and quotes

A Day in the Life:
- Designs, architect and implements solutions with Dynamics 365 Customer
Engagement modules and ensure designs/implementation meet client requirements
- Analyze complex requirements and develop IT strategies and multi-technology
solutions that are aligned with industry-accepted best practices
- Create relevant documentation as required including conceptual design,
logical and physical designs, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge
transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
- Develop and implement solutions for the D365 Finance & Operations portfolio
leveraging core Dynamics functionality along with Azure PaaS technologies and
the PowerPlatform
- Provide the highest level of technical support within the support team,
responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving the most complex
application and integration issues
- Collaborate with business users, Tier 1/2 support teams, developers, and
Microsoft to ensure system stability and performance across the enterprise
- Serve as the final escalation point for all functional and technical issues
in D365 F&O
- Diagnose and resolve complex system, configuration, and integration issues,
including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies
- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects,
implement patches, and support new releases
- Analyze root causes and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with Microsoft support (Premier/Unified) to escalate and manage
critical issues (FastTrack, LCS)
- Perform system health checks, environment refreshes, and monitoring tasks
- Support code deployments, hotfixes, and service updates following the ALM
process
- Participate in regression testing, UAT, and post-deployment validation
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of industry experience working with Dynamics 365 F&O
- Proven expertise with multiple products in the D365 Unified Operations
portfolio including:
- Financials & Accounting
- Budgeting
- Project Management
- Distribution
- Transportation
- Manufacturing
- Cost Accounting
- Procurement
- Sales Orders
- Retail
- 3+ years of expertise with Dataverse and the PowerPlatform
- 3+ years’ experience with integrations/APIs
- Ability to effectively communicate to different audiences including internal
and external stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral
and various presentation formats and situations
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops,
art-of-the-possible sessions)

Expected salary range $106,000 to $120,000 plus 15% Variable earnings
