Baker Tilly Victoria is one of the largest locally owned and operated accounting firms in Victoria. We’re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring smooth financial operations for our valued clients. Primary duties:
Summarizing the client’s books and records
Management of client’s payroll, payables, receivables, expenses and tax remittances
Assisting clients with the betterment of record-keeping
Vacation relief for other bookkeeping staff
All other bookkeeping and administrative duties as required
Skills and attributes:
Self-starter, takes initiative
Can work independently with little supervision. Ability to jump into bookkeeping files with minimal support.
Great organization and communication skills
Proficiency and/or experience with: Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; Bookkeeping applications including Sage, QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online; and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Can-do attitude
Experience working in a team-based environment
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience, dealing with multiple clients at once
Compensation package:
Salary: $50,000 - $53,000
Three weeks’ annual vacation
