Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to join our Assessment and Permitting team within the Environmental Services practice area, focusing on Provincial and Federal Environmental Impact Assessments. This role offers the flexibility to work from one of our local offices in a hybrid environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Implement environmental assessment, impact assessment, and permitting processes for a variety of projects, including mining, infrastructure, industrial, and community developments
Manage project tasks and deliverables related to Provincial and Federal Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
Write and coordinate proposals and reports tailored to specific project requirements
Conduct desktop studies to support regulatory requirements for various developments
Develop and implement consultation programs with a focus on diverse stakeholders
Communicate and liaise effectively with project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and the public
Work with a group of professionals across Canada focusing on environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance
Build on previous client relationships to provide opportunities and support development.
Actively participate in key client meetings and professional/industrial organizations to promote Stantec
Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Sector Leaders to achieve excellent business outcomes
Be responsible for the dedicated staff providing Environmental Impact Assessment services, particularly within the Assessment & Permitting team
