What you’ll do:
Contract Management:
Manage the contract lifecycle from intake to execution and archiving
Maintain and optimize our CLM system (e.g., LinkSquares)
Track renewal deadlines and key contract terms
Process & Compliance Support:
Implement and maintain legal workflows, playbooks, and SOPs
Assist with compliance efforts (e.g., export control, privacy regulations like GDPR/CCPA, open source usage)
Support audits and internal documentation needs
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the legal team’s liaison with finance, product, sales, engineering, and HR
Support commercial insurance renewal cycle to ensure adequate limits, pricing and appropriate policies are in place to support the business
IP and Corporate Work:
Support IP filings and patent/trademark coordination
Help track patent, trademark and other IP registrations
Maintain corporate governance and subsidiary management records
Tooling and Data:
Fully integrate Contract Lifecycle Management software (LinkSquares) into business processes
Monitor and report on legal team KPIs and OKRs
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
4+ years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or legal project management
Experience in a startup or tech company (hardware or software) preferred
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and document management tools
Exposure to privacy, product compliance, or IP law
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
