About the Role:
As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Americas, you will play a key role at the Group level, working across OPmobility Business Groups (BG) to provide accurate and dynamic market intelligence to regional stakeholders. Your insights and analysis will support effective decision-making and help shape the future of mobility. Working closely to support local and regional leadership, this position reports directly to the Global Marketing / Communication Business Intelligence Manager and functionally to the Executive Vice President & Chairperson North America.
Main Missions:
Implement a systemic watch on the mobility market and BG-specific markets
Deliver standard reports and proactively suggest new angles
Create and regularly update analysis related to the mobility market, OPmobility's position, and BGs' competition
Provide analysis and takeaways based on BGs Market databases
Attend Mobility shows and conferences, delivering specific reports and takeaways
Key Activities:
Global Market Intelligence:
Conduct a systemic market watch from various sources and provide dynamic insights
Provide a monthly report including macro-economic, quantitative, and qualitative market insights
Regularly update on volume evolution per country, customers, powertrain, and other segmentations
Analyze relevant new market trends (products, innovations & consumers)
Attend Mobility events and conferences, providing a report with key highlights and main market trends
Competition Watch and Reporting:
Conduct a systemic competitors watch from various sources and provide dynamic insights
Deliver competitors’ profiles including technologies, capacity analysis, governance & shareholders, financial results, and latest news, products & strategic moves updated at least twice a year
Update footprint map mirroring OEMs, competition, and OPmobility sites
OEMs Watch and Reporting:
Conduct a systemic OEMs watch from various sources and provide dynamic insights
Provide a report on OEMs' main communications to the market (Financial results, Capital Market Days)
OPmobility Performance vs Market, Corporate Milestones, and Management Meetings:
Analyze Business Groups' growth vs Market growth evolution (by segment and industry)
Provide market share analysis, highlighting main trends
Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making in the frame of Strategic Planning or on demand
Support Customer Briefings for Executive meetings (Market shares, latest news)
Provide market outlook and market shares for Management Meetings
Support the Customer Strategic Reviews once a year (Market shares, OEMs, and Competition insights)
Discover Your Potential with Us! The right person will have these qualities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Automotive or Mobility sectors in Americas region
Calls for understanding of mobility technologies, market dynamics and competitive strategies
Strong interest in Tier 1 & 2 Automotive sector and technologies
Operational knowledge of Sales / Product Marketing processes
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for market modeling and dashboards
Ability to craft compelling visual presentations from raw data
Fluent in English; proficiency in another language (French, Spanish...) is a plus
Strong ability to understand, anticipate, and meet customer needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal teams
Adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
Strategic thinker with the ability to connect data points into meaningful insights
Demonstrated ability to drive projects independently
Strong understanding of macroeconomic, competitive, and regulatory forces shaping the mobility/automotive sector
Proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments
