The Role
If you find satisfaction in bringing structure to busy environments, enjoy
solving problems, and want to grow your career in People Operations, this role
is for you. As part of our People Ops team, you’ll support a smooth employee
experience—from onboarding and daily operations to planning memorable in-person
and virtual events that help build team connection. You’ll act as a connector,
ensuring global processes work locally and everything runs efficiently.
Your day-to-day will include managing employee queries via Jira, maintaining
clean and accurate data in our people systems, and spotting ways to improve our
tools and processes. You'll work across systems, templates, policies, and
data—right at the center of the action. With our growing focus on automation and
smarter workflows, you’ll also have opportunities to explore new tools and
tech-enabled solutions. You'll be supported by experienced Specialists and
involved in cross-functional projects as we shape the future of People
Operations at Legend.

Your Impact
- Own and manage Jira tickets from across the global business, responding
quickly, efficiently and clearly.
- Maintain data accuracy and documentation across our tools, including Hibob,
Notion, Lattice, Peakon etc
- Support critical people processes like onboarding, offboarding and work
moments
- Spot opportunities to streamline operations and suggest automation
improvements
- Collaborate with People Operations Specialists on process design, projects
and experimentation with AI tools
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Halifax office, including
maintenance and facilities, supplies, health & safety, and compliance.
- Organize in-person (Halifax & Toronto) and remote socials and events with a
focus on making them meaningful, valuable, and an opportunity to connect.
What You'll Bring
- Experience working in a People role and / or qualification in HR, with a
desire to grow your career in People Operations
- Strong attention to detail in systems, templates, data and comms
- Comfortable using HRIS platforms, ticketing systems or productivity tools
- A proactive mindset and a love for bringing order to complexity
- Clear communication style with a friendly, helpful tone
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced, evolving
environment
