This is a remote position.
We are supporting a fast-growing fintech company in the US to find a seasoned SEO Expert to single-handedly lead and scale their organic growth strategy in a competitive B2B landscape.
Term: Full-Time
Location: Eastern Europe / South America
As the SEO Manager/Expert, you’ll take full ownership of all SEO initiatives, from strategy to execution, across technical, on-page, off-page, and content optimization. We’re looking for a strategic operator with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally at a small or medium-sized company where you’ve driven organic traffic growth from the ground up. This isn’t a role for generalists - we need someone who can strategize, execute, and clearly communicate the “how.”
What You'll Do
Independently develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for the team, covering technical, on-page, off-page, and content optimization.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement SEO best practices.
Build thought leadership content and fill content gaps to align with searcher intent and EEAT/YMYL guidelines for fintech.
Lead link-building campaigns utilizing diverse strategies (e.g. guest posting, PR outreach, content partnerships, niche directories) and manage backlink profiles to enhance domain authority in the payment fintech space.
Monitor and report on SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and custom dashboards.
Requirements
What You Bring
Proven track record of driving at least 50% year-over-year organic traffic growth or significant keyword ranking improvements in B2B or fintech/SaaS environments.
Strong command of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
Deep understanding of Google’s algorithm updates, EEAT, and YMYL guidelines for fintech websites.
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer, Search Console, GA4).
Experience building high-authority backlinks and disavowing toxic links in competitive niches.
Expertise in setting up and interpreting GA4 and Google Search Console to track KPIs.
Knowledge of emerging SEO trends (e.g., AI-driven optimization, voice search, etc).
Strong communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and present strategies to leadership.
Fluent English speaker (written and spoken); location flexible across North America, Europe, and the UAE, with overlap with U.S. Eastern Time hours. Exceptional candidates from other regions are welcome to apply.
