We’re currently hiring a General Service Employee — a key role that helps bring our events to life and ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Set up and tear down events, both indoors and outdoors
Perform janitorial and maintenance tasks such as cleaning bathrooms and scrubbing floors
Keep event areas clean before, during, and after events
Open and close facilities as needed
Operate machinery and equipment
Work closely with supervisors, staff, and volunteers
Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, and event grounds
Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
Assist with basic repairs and event-specific setup tasks

What You Bring to the Team:
Willingness and availability to work shifts, including early mornings (as early as 6:00 am), late nights (up to 2:30 am), weekends, and holidays
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
First Aid certification is an asset
Strong oral and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge with familiarity in programs such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, and EventPro
Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
A commitment to safety and exceptional customer service
Additional Requirements:
A clean driver’s abstract showing a minimum of 3 years of driving experience and no more than 3 minor convictions within the last 3 years
The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal background check

Rate of Pay: $21.79 to $24.70 per hour
