Data Analyst (Wealth Management)
Hiring 3 experienced Data Analysts to support data-driven initiatives in the insurance and wealth management sector. This hybrid role in Toronto requires strong SQL, Azure, and Generative AI skills. Responsibilities:
• Lead sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and obtain sign-off.
• Produce and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), source-to-target mappings (STMs), and related documentation.
• Ensure project teams deliver data assets that align with business needs.
• Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and metadata collection.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and secure sign-off from business units.
• Support strategic data initiatives within the Data Office/Engineering team.
• Deliver high-quality data solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy.
• Work collaboratively to improve data sourcing, modeling, and delivery practices.
What you will need to succeed:
• 7–10 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in wealth management (retail, retirement, institutional, or general accounts).
• 2–3 years of working experience with Generative AI and Azure cloud.
• Experience with data-centric projects such as master data management, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Strong experience in big data environments for analytics.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to analyze data and generate business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver data documentation within project timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with platforms including Bloomberg Polar Lake, SimCorp Dimension, Findur, Apex, Eagle, Charles River, Sylvan, and Calypso.
• Intermediate to senior-level experience building data infrastructure or working in data lake/warehouse environments.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, loading, profiling, and validation using SQL.
• Deep experience integrating new data sources into data lake or warehouse architectures.
