Job Description
Execute prep and service for your station with precision, consistency, and a focus on high-volume production without sacrificing quality
Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with recipe specifications and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Support food service, often simultaneously, with flexibility and efficiency
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to coordinate timing, special requests, and service flow
Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen areas for events of varying size and complexity
Assist in training junior team members and maintaining a collaborative kitchen culture
Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
Demonstrate initiative and a proactive attitude during service and prep
Adapt quickly to last-minute changes or requests common in the event environment
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Line Cook in a high-volume or banquet setting
Culinary diploma or equivalent industry experience preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, large-batch preparation, and safe food handling procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proven ability to manage time effectively and stay organized under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to take direction and provide feedback in a team setting
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event bookings
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
