What we offer
The Director, Marketing Technology will serve as the strategic and technical
leader for ensuring the success and optimization of all marketing technology
(MarTech) and sales platforms within the organization. This role is a critical
bridge between marketing and IT teams, driving seamless integration, innovation,
and establish requirements and operational excellence across digital platforms
to enhance customer engagement, lead generation, and sales effectiveness. It
encompasses a wide range of technologies, including marketing automation
platforms, CRM systems, sales enablement, website, data analytics tools, among
others. The Director, Marketing Technology will be accountable for driving the
research and solutioning necessary to continue advancing the customer experience
in alignment with Mattamy’s company vision. The ideal candidate has experienced
full ownership of/accountability for CRM systems along with other leveraged
marketing platforms in the homebuilding industry.
Note: Depending on the skills, knowledge, and experience of the selected
candidate, this role may be hired at either the Director or VP level.
What you’ll do

Work hand-in-hand with executive leaders of sales and marketing in both
countries (Canada & USA) to support the vision and solutions to support the
holistic customer experience

Provide strategic and thought leadership on the development, implementation,
and continuous improvement of a comprehensive and innovative MarTech and
sales enablement platforms in alignment with business objectives, including
leveraging AI and other key solutions.

Provide technical oversight and drive exceptional cross-functional
collaboration to ensure the seamless integration and interoperability between
various platforms, tools, and data sources

Evaluate and recommend technologies or tools to improve efficiency,
scalability, and performance.

Gather and execute requirements in alignment with the organization’s
technology needs and strategic roadmap

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of MarTech and sales platforms, including
implementation, operation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Monitor platform health and performance, ensuring uptime, data accuracy, and
optimal con?guration.

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, coordinating with
vendors and internal teams as needed.

Accountable for continuous and data-driven optimization, including but not
limited to leveraging analytics to track and improve the effectiveness of
marketing and sales campaigns across platforms, and establishing KPIs and
dashboards to provide real-time insights into platform performance and ROI.

Collaborate, with fluid communication skills, with data teams to enhance
customer segmentation, personalization, and predictive modeling.

Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to prioritize projects and
deliver seamless employee and customer user experiences.

Work closely with training team to coordinate and ensure user training is
meeting business and user needs on an ongoing basis. Provide training and
mentorship on the effective use of MarTech platforms.

Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to negotiate
contracts and support.

What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Marketing, Commerce, or a related ?eld.
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing technologies, IT project
management, or a related ?eld, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in
the homebuilding industry preferred.
- Pro?ciency in CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, data analytics
tools, and DXP/CMS platforms.
- Experience with APIs, middleware, and integrations to unify disparate
platforms.
- Strong ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proven experience with and understanding of the consumer journey throughout
the sales and marketing funnel and how technology platforms enable the online
and offline consumer experience.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholder
relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization skills and project management
Bonus points
- Exposure to and intimate knowledge on AI and machine learning technologies in
MarTech.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
