Click the link below to see what it’s like to work with our team: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC-W5h3r5Ec&t=2s Essential Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and prepare financial models to support key business decisions such as aircraft acquisition, contract pricing, lease/buy decisions of equipment, with an aim of maximizing shareholder returns, focusing on metrics such as Internal rate of return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV) Perform and interpret detailed analysis of operational and financial data using Excel, database or analytical tools Deliver the financial analysis and results to senior management in presentations and or reports, using Excel charts, graphs and PowerPoint for various audiences to support informed decision making Develop new models to analyze data to provide insights into key data related to divisional strategy, KPIs, risk analysis, fleet/customer performance, industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in data analysis and reporting Provide finance and business support to key business planning documents including business cases, and business plans for new opportunities and RFPs Support operating and capital budgeting and forecasting by continuously enhancing templates, and providing key analytics, reports and dashboards Utilize PowerBI and/or Excel to develop engaging new dashboards to be used for senior management, to provide insight into financial performance at customer, fleet and departmental levels Design and enhance existing business tools and workflows by developing innovative solutions using applications such as Microsoft Power Platform products Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a minimum 6 years’ experience with data analysis, finance and business Bachelor of Finance or Commerce, or comparable education Has obtained CFA or CPA Impactful analyzation of complex datasets with data residing in multiple applications and tables Recognized expert in preparing financial models, workbooks, dashboards, reports and telling a story with analytic results Ability to develop solutions using Power Query, Microsoft Power Platform products and databases (e.g. SQL), or similar Experience with finance and business, including strong knowledge of finance and capital investment concept Experience with business valuation or business transactions would be an asset Strong analytical skills and problem-solving using Excel, Power BI and other database and analysis tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Expert knowledge of financial reports Working conditions: This is a hybrid role, working both from home and attending the office once at minimum twice a week or as business needs require Office location - Downtown, Vancouver Additional Information Summit Air, a member of the Ledcor Group of Companies, delivers customized fleet and aviation solutions safely and reliably to support Canada's North and beyond.
