better hardware and software capabilities. Along with optimizing game
development engines, developing infrastructure and workflows for efficient
remote and hybrid development, brings new opportunities and engineering
challenges that all studios are facing today. Solving these challenges is
critical to enabling efficient hybrid teams as well as external globally
distributed development partners who help scale during peak phases of
development. At The Coalition Studio, through our work on the acclaimed Gears of
War franchise, we are tackling these problems head-on by leading engine
innovation, developing technical showcase technologies, and delivering
world-class workflows, tools and features that are adopted across the wider Xbox
Game Studios organization.
As a Lead Project Engineer at The Coalition, you will be a highly valued member
of a world class Engine and Game Development team. You should have proficient
C++ skills, Unreal Engine experience, be comfortable with Perforce, and have a
passion for problem solving. You are a generalist knowledgeable in areas such as
Rendering, Systems, Audio, Gameplay and Animation. You will be working in our
Xbox Games Technology Group (XGTG) helping generalize tools and workflows ready
to be adopted by other game teams across the company. You will be responsible
and accountable for managing the internal project we use to showcase our
technology and workflows with other studios.
