Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Receiver to join our Home Centre team on a part-time (24 hours per week or more) basis at our location in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Hardware Manager.
What you’ll do:
Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Unload, sort, and organize products in designated warehouse or storage areas.
Record and update stock information in inventory management systems.
Report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to the appropriate team.
Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate stock levels.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Support other departments as required, including shipping and inventory management.
Follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You have a Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience.
Experience in a warehouse or receiving role is an asset.
Familiarity with inventory management software is an asset.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds daily and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
A strong communicator and team player.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Customer-focused, dependable, and results-driven, with a passion for excellence.
A collaborator who values diverse perspectives and teamwork.
