General Responsibilities:
Full accountability for all activities in the warehouse
Manage material control and receiving inspection process
Supervise all Material Handling employees and activities and ensure training requirements are met
Coordinate warehouse layout and ensure a clean and organized environment using the 5S principles
Ensure FIFO is maintained
Responsible for safety audits e.g. racks, forklift inspections
Responsible for coordinating maintenance on all forklifts
Responsible for implementing and maintaining a cycle count schedule
Perform product audits to cross reference with crib layout
Liaison with the Shipping department to ensure compliance with on time deliveries to customers
Process shop packs and purchase receipts
Data processing as required for the Materials department
Foster a positive team environment and assist coworkers as required
Comply with all company policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned by management.
