RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Plumbing Sales Floor. Establish
short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the store in alignment with the strategic
plan. Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, image
standards, financial management, safety, and asset protection. Responsible to ensure
consistent and profitable operations with the goal of continually improving operations.
Purchase and market Plumbing merchandise and manage relationships with vendors.
Coaches team members, providing day to day direction and guidance, including
performance management, training, and development. Manage expenses according to
budget while maintaining revenue and superior customer service. Ensure adherence to all
regulations, Company, H&S, Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience with plumbing products considered an asset. Previous
supervisory/management experience considered an asset. Must be able to work cooperatively
with customers, the public and co-workers. Must have a valid driver licence. This
position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position; therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s
Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
