We’re seeking an experienced and agile Director of People Operations to scale our global HR operational infrastructure. This critical leadership role will oversee the end-to-end strategy of our compensation, benefits, operations, immigration, & systems programs.
You will lead a team responsible for service delivery, systems administration, and rewards execution—and serve as a trusted partner to Legal, Finance, Payroll, and IT, as well as the OpenTable executive team.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work from our Toronto office 2 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
Design, implement, and evolve a scalable shared services operational model that centralizes HR operations processes while ensuring global consistency, compliance, and a high quality employee experience
Lead HR Systems strategy across the employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, job changes, offboarding) to drive efficiency and compliance
Oversee the execution of mid-year and year-end compensation cycles and compensation forecasting/budgeting in close partnership with Finance and senior leadership
Craft and fine tune global benefits programs that align with business goals and drive employee retention
About You:
8–10+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus in HR operations, compensation, & systems in a global, high-growth environment
Proven experience leading and developing HR Operations or Total Rewards teams
Deep expertise in Workday, including Core HCM and Advanced Compensation modules
Strong knowledge of global employment compliance, HR governance, and policy development
Exceptional problem-solving and systems-thinking skills; able to navigate complexity and bring structure to ambiguity
Adept at analyzing and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executives
High attention to detail, with a process improvement mindset and ability to execute with consistency
Bachelor's degree required; HR or business-related certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP) are a plus

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada based role is $182,000 - 200,000 CAD.
We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
