Continental Day shifts – 7 shifts across two weeks 26 bi weekly period per year = 182 days of work per year. Traditional work patterns are – 10 shifts across two weeks 26 bi-weekly periods per year = 260 days of work per year

Job Duties:
Inspect the product to identify its quality and size and adjust the line accordingly.
Communicate with drivers, line operators and other staff what product and equipment will be run as indicated by the production plan.
Inspect a bag on a regular basis (every 15 minutes) ensuring seal, date codes, labels, case codes and product meet quality standards and notify lead hand or supervisor of any concerns.
Ensure that all man doors are closed, and that all rollup doors are operating.
Setup Bosch machines and tubers as per production plan.
Walk the line every hour to ensure it is running smoothly.
Ensure proper protective equipment (PPE) is always worn while working.
Connect with supervisor as needed to discuss any changes that have occurred to the production plan.
Ensure production quotas and other requirements set out by production supervisors are met, and that any quality concerns are reported to production supervisors.
Monitor chiller temps, heat tunnel temps, fan speeds, and recipe mixes every two hours to assure that the line is operating at maximum efficiency and producing best quality product.
Stay within the vicinity of the Bosch’s and tubers to minimize waste and downtime.
Ensure startup and shutdown checklist is completed each shift.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Education & Experience:
Minimum high school diploma
Previous experience in the food industry an asset
