Duties:
Manage accounting tasks like AR, AP, payroll, month-end/year-end closes, and prepare financial reports.
Handle regulatory filings, audits, and maintain accounting policies and controls.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis to support departments.
Use ERP systems to improve processes and support system updates.
Work with operations on project costing, WIP, and financial tracking.
Support and guide junior staff and collaborate with other teams to improve financial decisions.
Assets:
CPA/ CMA is a must
Construction Industry experience (or something with Project Based Accounting experience) or will consider candidates coming from Accounting Firms.
Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience;
Solid understanding of ASPE, project-based accounting, and multi-entity financial structures.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and complex reconciliations.
Proficiency with Vista by Viewpoint or similar construction ERP systems
