Job Description What is the opportunity? Risk Analytics Modeling Pricing & Trade Processing group (RAMPP) within Quantitative Technology Services (QTS) is seeking a Dev Manager/Application Lead to lead Macro & other cross asset Risk Services/API platforms. This role reports to the Global Head of Risk Aggregation, xAsset Risk Tooling and Downstream Services and will be the point person to drive technology change and deliver “big rock” programs for firm. What will you do? You will lead two global technology teams (Felix Risk Services and Risk API) to continue BAU and “big rock” deliveries of all major initiatives – including Risk Modernization, FX Modernization, FRTB regulatory changes et al. Collaborate with BA-leads, PMO and interface with all relevant stakeholders – RTB/Program teams/senior RAMPP management to actively manage and track monthly/quarterly targets Set ambitious technology goals, find redesign opportunities and set pace for the teams to drive them to completion Be a hands-on technology leader for the teams to help drive best-in-class cloud native/big-data solutions Vendor management with weekly/monthly feedback to various vendor partners to ensure a culture of “win-win” is propagated Lead global stand-up calls, ensure timely technology deliveries leading to tangible technology and business outcomes Be the escalation point person for these business critical applications and provide L2/L3 support as needed Analyze, debug and help resolve production issues related including but not limited to data flows, application performance, system latency and infrastructure and network products What do you need to succeed? Must-have 15+ years of Capital Markets Technology experience – primarily in Risk management Good exposure to end-to-end trade lifecycle management and EOD risk analytics Must have a strong technical background with at least 10+ years of hands-on development experience Strong experience programming with Java 17+, SpringBoot,SQL,Reactive programming, CICD DevOps Good exposure to cloud-native/big data technologies Apache Spark, Apache AirFlow, S3 Hands-on experience on databases with SQL – preferably PostgreS Ability to plan, juggle, prioritize and set pace for the broader development teams pertaining to team delivery roadmap Excellent analytical skills – proven experience conducting data analysis/discovery/aggregation as a foundation to providing meaningful analysis and management reporting to facilitate business decisions at a senior management/executive level. Strong communication skills, to synthesize data and simplify a complex problem for an executive audience Bachelors in Engineering with focus on Computer Science Nice-to-have MBA/Advanced master’s degree in finance (nice to have) Broad systems management experience knowledge or experience working with Iceberg What’s in it for you?
