As part of the Amazon-wide Amazonian Leadership Experiences team, the Senior
Leader Experience Execution Engine team's mission is to enable Amazon leaders
implement and operationalize leadership-defined workforce plans, translating
strategies into actions. We develop philosophies, mechanisms and products that
help leaders to execute and guardrail their workforce plan. A successful
candidate will be responsible for leading the development and launch of a
variety of core product features, designing the system architecture, and

Key job responsibilities
Proficiency in Java or any other object oriented programming is required, and
the ideal candidate is an expert in at least one of these languages.

Work closely with senior engineers, UX designers and product managers to develop
friendly UI experiences.
Work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.

stack.
Help with hiring and mentoring.
Take user-facing features from design to implementation, coding both the UI and
backend functionality.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of non-internship professional software
development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of full software development life cycle,
including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year.
Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of
compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in
addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
