Job Overview:
We are currently hiring a Civil Skilled Labourer to support access matting installation and removal on oil and gas and construction projects. This is a project-based role with varying durations, ranging from several days to multiple weeks. The position requires reliable, hardworking individuals who are physically fit and committed to working safely in challenging outdoor environments.
Responsibilities:
Install, remove, and maintain access matting at project sites.
Clean and prepare mats for reuse as required.
Operate safely in proximity to heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery.
Assist with general labour duties to support field operations.
Follow all safety protocols, site policies, and supervisor directions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working around heavy equipment and trucks.
Current oil and gas safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS).
Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Prior access matting or oil and gas project experience.
Work Environment:
This role involves outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions. Travel to different project sites will be required, with accommodations provided where necessary. Work is performed in industrial settings alongside heavy equipment, requiring strict attention to safety.
