JOB SUMMARY
As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish area and assisting with general tasks as needed. This position is ideal for someone who values teamwork, takes pride in supporting others, and works efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintaining a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting dishes, keeping dish area free of clutter and organized
Assisting with other general kitchen tasks including prep work as needed
Maintaining clean/dry floors throughout the shift
Properly washing, storing and stacking china, glassware, silverware, cookware and other storage containers
Changing water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as is required by business levels, and proper utilization of chemical dilutions
Assist with the timely storage of food deliveries
Maintaining garbage and compost bins throughout shift and removing at the end of each shift
Maintaining the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves
Following the posted daily dish cleaning duties
Assisting in food prep and any other tasks as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports directly to the management team, and does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Desire to improve and learn on a daily basis
Ability to work under pressure
Personable, friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
High energy and strong work ethic
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$18.86 to $22.06/hour
