The Building Operator II position is located in Ottawa, ON, and typically reports directly to the Facility Supervisor.
Work shall include but is not limited to:
The design and implementation of custom control applications
Troubleshoot BAS programming
Provide BAS support network support as required
Perform shift tours and log readings
Start up/shut down major building equipment
All water treatment duties
Diesel, fire alarm, life safety tests
Air balancing
AHU maintenance and alignment
Heat pump servicing and trouble shooting
Alignment of pumps and couplings
Minor repairs to pneumatic equipment
All aspects of the heating ventilation and air conditioning systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
4th or 3rd Class Operating Engineer certificate required.
Extensive experience in BAS and HVAC systems.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Excellent customer service skills in ensuring client requests are responded to professionally and promptly.
Must be able to work in confined spaces and/or working at heights.
Bending and lifting (under 30kg) required.
Must obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
