In the role of Civil CAD Technician, we'll count on you to:
Prepare general arrangement and detailed drawings, layouts & sketches, maps, and other graphical representations of engineering designs for roadways, grading, drainage, utilities with occasional guidance from others.
Preparation and revision of accurate Civil 3D/OpenRoads models and extraction of 2D drawings as required.
Prepare quantity estimates and design calculations.
Perform self-check and company QA procedures on all deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related program is preferred
CET Designation is preferred
Proficiency using Civil 3D and Bentley Openroads
Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under broad direction from a Project Engineer or Project Manager on various planning and design projects
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Required Qualifications
Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
