As a practice leader, portfolio analyst, your role is to assist the DGIG project portfolio manager by providing subject matter expertise and support for related activities. You coordinate and mentor a group of seasoned professionals and assist with management activities. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. In line with your practice, you analyze and/or make recommendations on budgets, estimates, projections and other financial parameters of projects, taking into account the overall, in-depth context of the line of business and the organization. Your role extends beyond individual projects to give a portfolio view of budgets, highlights, risks and other key indicators. As soon as you start, one of your tasks will be to assess processes and recommend ways to simplify and automate them. You help coordinate, plan and monitor projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You help create performance and budget governance indicators and develop risk management, capacity management and project benefit management methodologies and processes. Coordination is critical. You interact with many contributors working in a wide range of fields including finance, risks and delivery. Interpersonal savvy and team spirit are therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to : Serve as leading expert for your practice and its development Produce and organize complex, strategic work and deliverables related to your practice area Assess required changes and roll out improvements to simplify and automate operations Ensure that processes go smoothly and data quality is optimal for monitoring budgets, timelines and the scope of the initiative, and the overall portfolio roadmap to optimize reporting Anticipate, identify and analyze trends and discrepancies and suggest solutions to help the team meet portfolio performance indicators.
