Job Description:
The position of kitchen receiver will operate out of the Whiskey Jack Lodge loading dock. The successful candidate will be required to receive all food and beverage orders, distribute stock throughout various outlets and ensure a high level of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained throughout the kitchen and back spaces.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of loading dock area, food stock, small wares, glassware and fridge spaces
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of dock room as well as inventory measures
- Practice safe handling of all Food – First In / First Out
- Ensure all OH&S practices and policies are being followed
- Report any OH&S issues to the Sous Chef
- Complete other duties as required
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Highly organized & detail oriented
- Self motivated, can work well in a team as well as independently
- Ability to work under pressure in hot and cold work environments
- Must be able to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Complete other tasks as assigned
- A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment
- Driving licence and provable 3-year insurance and clean driving history preferred
Work Schedule:
5 Days On / 2 Days Off – Business level dependent
Dress Code:
Kitchen uniform (jacket and pants) which will be provided
Employee to provide non-slip grease resistant footwear in accordance with appearance policy
