Duties:
Overseeing and coordinating the hospital administrative procedures and reviewing, evaluating and implementing new procedures
Creating and implementing protocols and procedures for complex hospital administrative activities such as maintaining patient medical records, purchasing order invoices and other documents, and archiving of records
Establishing work priorities, delegating work to support administrative staff, and ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are followed
Coordinating and planning for office services, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
Conducting analyses and overseeing administrative operations related to budgeting and management processes
Assisting in preparation of operating budget and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls
Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
May supervise other administrative and hospital staff
Responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with vendors, suppliers and medical representatives in providing our clients and patients with the best and latest technology and innovation in the healthcare sector
Requirements:
A University degree or college diploma in business or a related field is required
2+ years of experience in an Office and Inventory Manager role, or similar, is required
Experience working in a veterinary hospital environment is an asset
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
