Job Title: Lead Planning/Scheduling Engineer
Location: Edmonton, AB
Our client is seeking a Lead Planning/Scheduling Engineer V to join their team. As a Lead Planning/Scheduling Engineer V, you will be part of the Project Controls team supporting various engineering and construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Description:
Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of project schedules to support the execution of our Client projects.
Lead the planning team and engage with project teams to develop detailed work plans and monitor progress against timelines.
Utilize Primavera P6 scheduling software to develop and maintain project schedules.
Analyze schedule impacts of changes to project scope and develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare comprehensive schedule reports and presentations to communicate schedule status to project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Vast experience working as a Lead Planning/Scheduling Engineer in our Clients mega projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
